Looking for some fun with Rhubarb? Join the Rhubarb Olympics!
Events will include:
- The Rhubarb Stalk Throw is a chance to see if you can throw the stalk the distance.
- Rhubarb Golf uses a rhubarb stalk as a golf club to drive a ping-pong ball closest to the flag.
- Green Eggs and Rhubarb lets you balance an organic green egg on a stalk of rhubarb while walking around an obstacle course without dropping the egg.
- Rhubarb Hoops gives you a chance to make a free throw with a stalk of rhubarb.
- Rhubarb Toss is throwing rhubarb stalks into holes of a wooden beanbag catcher.
Registration starts at 10 a.m. in Sylvan Park at the Olympics registration table. Games will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. with prizes awarded at 1:30 p.m. Prizes donated by Rhino's Pizza and Subs in downtown Lanesboro.
