Contests and Crafts
If you grow really great rhubarb, bring in those leaves and stalks. We will have a contest for the largest leaf and the heaviest stalk.
If you are in the mood to make some rhubarb art, bring us your entries. In the past we have had rhubarb jewelry, baskets, trays, and vases. Some have entered rhubarb leaf birdbaths, necklaces and earrings. Let your creative rhubarb juices flow and bring us your best rhubarb artistic pieces.
For a quick, fun challenge, try Minute-to-Win-It and see how many pieces of rhubarb you can pick up with chopsticks before the clock runs out!
Don't forget to sign up for the pie-making contest! It's first come, first serve for a limited number of participants, but it's just as much fun to watch. Check the Schedule of Events for times.
All prizes will be awarded at 1:30 p.m. Remember - you must be present to win.
